During the third quarter of 2024, the top travel and local apps on the Android platform in Europe showcased a variety of performance trends. Data from Sensor Tower provides a detailed look at the weekly downloads, revenue, and active users for these leading applications.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel started the quarter with impressive download numbers, peaking at around 359K in mid-July. However, a gradual decline was noted towards the end of September, with downloads dropping to approximately 178K. The app maintained a strong active user base, starting at over 11.6M and experiencing a gradual decline to about 9.8M by quarter's end.

Airbnb saw consistent weekly downloads, peaking at 263K in mid-July, before tapering off to 170K by the end of September. The app's active user count followed a similar trend, beginning at roughly 3.8M and decreasing to 3.2M throughout the quarter.

Yandex Navigator maintained a steady revenue stream, with weekly earnings ranging from $85 to $146. Its downloads peaked in mid-August at about 152K, while active users remained relatively stable, starting at 3.5M and ending at 3.1M.

Flightradar24 Flight Tracker experienced a peak in downloads during late July and early August, reaching up to 174K. Revenue fluctuated, peaking at $80.5K in mid-September. Active users saw a high of 991K in early August, with numbers slightly decreasing towards the end of the quarter.
